Mritasanjivanam is a drama consisting of seven acts. It is written by Nallan Krishnamacharya. This drama is prescribed by the Chittoor board for its third-level examination (Vichakshana).
The incident of Kaca obtaining the Mritasanjivana mantra from Shukracharya forms the plot of this drama. This drama is very entertaining with apt employment of various rasas, and also gains additional dimensions deriving from the author’s expertise in Carnatic Music.
