Free Sanskrit learning apps on Android and IOS Samskrita Baalaamodini, a CD very popular among beginners of Samskrit , has been released as 14 apps for Android and IOS. These apps are freely downloadable, and can be used to master the basics of Sanskrit – script, vocabulary, concepts of gender and number, sentence construction. New free courses in Vyoma-Samskrta-Pathasala Two new courses have recently been launched in our free online Samskrit learning portal, www.sanskritfrom home.in. The first of these is an introductory course for Patanjali’s Yogasutras, being taught by Dr. Jayaraman, an experienced scholar and researcher in the field of Yoga. This 12-week course started on 15th August 2015, and will continue till November 2015. Recordings of all previous classes available. The other course is the first in a series of sentence construction courses planned by us. Focus is on improving sentence construction abilities of beginners in Samskrit. This course will cover the forms and usage of different vibhaktis through numerous exercises, activities and speaking practice. This 14-week course is taught by Smt. Sowmya Krishnapur, who has been teaching various Vyakarana texts online through our portal since five years. Classes started on 29th August 2015.
Sanskrit for Beginners – Video course ApnaCourse is a leading e-Learning platform providing in-demand video courses delivered by top instructors. A course on beginners' Samskrit, delivered by experts from Vyoma Labs, is now available at apnacourse.com.
Samaasa This product covering all aspects of compound words in Samskrit has been released in both CD and web versions. Starting from the basic concepts and leading up to advanced operations, this product employs audio,animations, games, exercises and much more to ensure that learners appreciate the intricacies of Samaasa-s. A simpler version of this product,for the benefit of beginners and school students is being created, and will be released soon.
Vyoma Labs participating in Samskrita Mahasammelanam in Chennai A 3-day Samskrita Mahasammelanam- a seminar cum exhibition with the global theme of ‘Samskritam for Samanya‘, is being organized on the 11th, 12th and 13th September 2015 in Chennai (Meenakshi College for Women). Vyoma Linguistic Labs Foundation will be part of the book fair in this event. All Samskrit Learning Products will be offered at special discounted rates during the Sammelanam. Visit us at Stall No 30
Coming up: Learn Sanskrit Pronunciation through श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता We are shortly releasing our latest product – an audio CD for Bhagavadgita with pristine pronunciation by trained scholars. This CD will help learners perfect their pronunciation of Samskrit along with learning the verses of the Gita.
